LSC 504: Searching for Answers Meeting Users’ Information Needs

In LSC 504, for the final project, students had to create a Libguide. I chose to create my guide about resources on depression. Please click on the image below to have a more in-depth look at my LSC 504 LibGuide!

LSC 508: Introduction to Information Science & Technology

In LSC 508, students completed labs on a Google site using a WYSIWYG editor. For one of the labs, I created a logo using Snappa with my interpretation of what Information Science means. I used Bawden & Robinson's (2013) definition of information science.

For another one of the labs, students had to create an infographic on Rhode Island libraries. I created my infographic using easel.ly. I have included an image of it below.

LSC 510: Books to Bytes

In LSC 510, for two of the projects students had to create a physical book and an eBook. When I created the physical book I displayed the step by step process on a WordPress blog. For the eBook, I created a cover and uploaded a paper I wrote about the history of books and their relationship to libraries.

LSC 525: Multiculturalism in Libraries

Along with LSC 548, I am also taking LSC 525 this semester. For the final project, students had to create a presentation from a topic we had previously discussed during the semester. I decided to complete my project on social workers in public libraries and how they assist the homeless community. Since I gained some experience with Google Sites during LSC 508, I chose to present my project in this format.
