Hi! My name is Karina Veras. I am currently in my last year at the University of Rhode Island's master’s program for Library and Information Studies.
For my undergrad, I attended Rhode Island College. I graduated with a degree in Psychology, and I also minored in Gender Studies.
I currently work at Phillips Memorial Library at Providence College, which is my first time working withing an academic library setting.
Aside from this, I have worked within public libraries as a library assistant for 10+ years.
When I am not working or doing schoolwork, I enjoy spending time with my dog Starla. I also like to read (of course!),
watch films/television shows, and drink coffee.
